A place for inexpensive date ideas :)

We got creative again and used gingerbread man making kits to make a snowman and snowwoman instead! Let those creative juices flow!

During that time we read some snowman trivia on the internet, and afterwards played some snowman games. It was great fun!

It’s good to exercise. So, why not exercise together?

For this date we started by doing some exercises from Pinterest that included ab and back stretching exercises. These are the exercises that we did: Abs – http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/26/24/cf/2624cf90357ce4e3e3ccc4ef7ec0c158.jpg and Back Stretches – http://www.fitsugar.com/Stretches-Relieve-Lower-Back-Pain-Open-Tight-Hips-409369.

That was followed up by some cardio on Just Dance 4. We each chose two songs to dance to.

It was a fun night of working out and being together!

I know it sounds really thrilling 🙂 We are starting the process of buying our first home. Hooray!! Our blogging might be a little spotty for the next few months as most of our dates will probably include looking at homes and meeting with realtors and such. We apologize in advance, but don’t give up on us we’ll be in and out. For this date we did a lot of research on home loans. We narrowed down the lenders that we want to call. We also found and wrote questions that we want to ask realtors when we interview them. We did find this website useful for finding low rates for mortgage companies http://www.lender411.com/mortgage-rates/ Again we know very exciting. This date was inexpensive, but buying a home isn’t so much 🙂

In case you couldn’t tell from the title this was an apple theme date. We began the date by making yummy caramel apples. While we waited for our caramel apples to set up we found some apple trivia online and played apple games at the following website: http://www.lafayetteapplefest.org/index.html (click on activities to play games)

So we haven’t really been on hiatus. We’ve still been dating. We’ve just been going to a lot of free events in our community. Some of the events we planned on going to were international days and the blue moon festival. This weekend we’re off to peach days. We suggest you search for free events in your area. It’s amazing what you will find.

The official blog of Heather and Tyler’s themed dates.

This is our first post. We are very excited to start this blog together. We have been married for a little over a year. We were encouraged by Tyler’s mom to start a blog of the fun dates that we have gone on since we first started dating. We thought it was a good idea to make our ideas available to others who are looking for a fun, inexpensive way to go on dates.

Feel free to use any of these ideas. Just deposit two quarters in your computer. 🙂
